What happens at Sway? The most important thing we do is work with business founders on their expansion. We’ve been where you are, and we’ve spent a lot of time figuring out how to make those next big business steps happen. We can usually see fairly quickly which operational activities need prioritising, which market opportunities can be had and which connections you need to make.
The questions at this stage range from seemingly minor (e.g. a new product name) to the incredibly ambitious (e.g. how to expand into the UK within 12 months).
The second most important thing we do is help founders connect and engage with investors and acquirers. Yes, we make introductions, but that part is easy. We spend much more time teaching founders how to get their businesses in shape for investors, and how to generate interest in order to reach capital targets.
We also get our clients set up properly, allowing for scalability at speed, avoiding legal, financial and operational mine fields that could cause major problems and delays later on.
